Make No-Bake Charming Cookies for St. Patrick’s Day
A sweet treat for St. Patrick’s Day, these ‘Charming Cookies’ are not only lucky, they’re yummy too. Again, each takes about a minute to make–even LESS time than the Teddies in Tubbies cookies.
Here’s what you’ll need to make one or dozens:
- 2 1/2″ to 3 1/2″ round shortbread cookies (I used these. Dee-lish!)
- Betty Crocker white Cookie Icing
- green gummie fruit slices
- white granulated sugar
- tiny heart fondant/cookie cutter (I used the smallest heart in this set from Wilson)
Making them doesn’t even require a visual tutorial. Just flatten the green gummies, push them into a little granulated sugar to take the ‘sticky’ out and then cut out four tiny hearts using your fondant cutter. Frost the cookies with the cookie icing and then arrange four hearts on the frosting in the shape of a four leaf clover, using the picture above for reference. Nummy.
Using a heart shape–in this case a heart-shaped paper punch–I made this St. Patrick’s greeting card a couple years ago. The first time I realized 4 hearts = 1 4-leaf clover.
