Little Girl’s Loom Knitted Ponchos
I just finished up these cute little ponchos. Although they turned out darling, the pattern from Loom Knitting Primer, was not without errors. First, the knitting loom size required says it needs to have a peg number with a multiple of 8 + 2. It should be 8 + 4. I used the purple KK circular loom and made the medium size, which the pattern says will fit a four year old. Using the purple KK, the pattern suits a 2 year old or 9.5″ x 19″. I also whipped up a small size on the KK blue circular loom, which has the same gauge as the purple, and the rectangles measured 6.5″ x 13″, which is the universal size for a 1 year old. And finally, the cast on for the small size should be 20, not 22. All in all, a nice little pattern. Now I just have to wrap them up and send them on their way!
