Make a Mid-Mod Girard-esque Sun!

Oh joy! Rapture! Spring is almost here and to celebrate, I thought I’d whip up a mid-mod Girard-esque sun. The entire tute can be found over at Curbly, but here’s a list of materials you’ll need to get started:
- an 8 1/2″ x 11″ sheet of medium weight orange card stock
- a scrap of black medium weight card stock, if desired
- a black Sharpie
- a scissors
- a standard-sized paper hole punch, if desired
- Mod Podge Matte-Mat
- water-based poly urethane
- a paint brush or two (I used one small stiff one for the Podge and one larger softer one for the poly)
- a 5 3/4″ x 5 3/4″ x 1/2″ square piece of pine, or whatever you have on hand
