Cuttlebug Birthday Card Ideas Part 2
My local stamping store offers wonderful, free make and takes every Saturday. I love them, but sometimes the cards we make look like $2 tarts when we’re done with them. They’re cute and all, but they really aren’t me. I’m more of the less is more kind of gal. So yesterday, when I got down to some serious card-making, I kept it simple. Here’s the outcome:

#1 was made with the Beautifully Boxed combo set. The papers’ edges were inked with Memento’s Rich Cocoa. #2 was made with the Cat collection. I trimmed the kitty square and red decorative paper with a gold paint pen, added organza ribbon and a bow, whose knot is a gold brad. #3 was made with the Birthday collection and the largest of the Funky Square Frame. I trimmed the frame with my gold paint pen and edged the leaf print paper with Memento’s Rich Cocoa. If you haven’t added this ink pad to your collection, you should. It’s a beautiful option to basic black.

Love these!!! Gave me some great ideas for making my own birthday cards. Just finished my very first card (ever) for my great aunt’s birthday on Saturday. I didn’t want anything too frilly since she’s turning 85 and I think some of those busier cards would be a bit much. Thanks for the ideas!
You’re welcome Lori. And congrats on making your FIRST CARD EVER!!!!
