New Baby Hoodie Pattern from Bernat!

August 5, 2009

IMG_0002

Just HAD to share this NEW really cute and easy crochet hoodie jacket just recently added to Bernat’s free pattern library. I had plenty of yarn left when finished with the jacket so I whipped up a pair of booties to match. I wasn’t sure if I’d like the jacket–it seemed rather plain–but it turned out darling! Since it’s worked as one piece, it’s a great project for those who’d like to tackle their first garment!

I am trying that hoodie pattern from Bernat-having a huge problem with the sleeve shape portion. the h/dc chain to form second sleeve comes out reverse. Another words one side is right side the other side is wrong side. what am i doing wrong?

I just love this set. I cannot believe I have over looked this a big thank you. I like the plain sweaters for I have to junk up baby sweaters with apps. mostly made from fridgies. This is on my list. I have an app pattern for an ice cream cone and button that are ice cream cones hmmmmmmm. Then again it is pretty cute just without.

Thanks Mimi! I like the idea of using apps to tart it up. I’d love to see it if you do it!

    Hi there DIY Maven,

I caught your other blog on curbly (?), and I was trying to leave you a comment on one of your pieces, but the captcha wouldn’t work. I tried over 30 times (seriously) and it wouldn’t let me. Is that because I’m not a member of the website? I have no idea.

Just thought you should know – in case there is a technical problem with the captcha that you weren’t aware of.

It was a positive comment, by the way :)

Thanks for all your wonderful posts, they are much appreciated!

    Steph
