Flower Pot Makeover

March 30, 2009

Last week I went through my garage and found this old white ceramic flower pot. At the time, I had been experimenting with Adirondack Alcohol Inks (in the Nature Walk palette), so when I spotted the pot, I thought make-over.

It turned out great! To make the finish more durable, I’m thinking about putting a coat of water-based sealer over the pot. For more adventures in alcohol inks, check out this post over at Curbly. Oh, yeah…and this is what happens to your fingers if you don’t wear rubber gloves or use an ink applicator. Although, around here, this could pass for a manicure.
