Knot Another No-Sew Pillow Slipcover (The Package Pillow)
This no-sew pillow slipcover idea is for people who not only don’t own a needle or thread but don’t know what they are.
What You Need:
Ugly square pillow of your choice
Fabric: approximately twice the
dimensions of the pillow,
so about 40″ square fabric
for 20″ pillow.
What You Don’t Need:
Needle
Thread

Lightweight cotton works great for this method. Lay your fabric wrong side up on a large flat surface. The floor works exceptionally well. Place your ugly pillow in the center of the fabric. Fold up one point of the fabric as shown. Draw up the opposite point, folding the point of the fabric under to the middle of the pillow to hide the raw edge. Draw up the opposite points and tie at the center of the pillow. Tuck in the “ears” to hide the raw edges. By the way, lightweight cotton rips well, so you don’t necessarily need a scissors for this slipcover. Read on for an even easier alternative.
Stating the Obvious
If the knot falls at the wrong place–say up your nose or in your ear–while you’re taking your afternoon nap, turn the pillow over.
